Getting started with Quickstream

Steps to install Quickstream: 

  1. Install Quickstream Nodes on the PC machines that have direct access to the network where video signals will be sent or received. Please study Use cases for example configurations

  2. Register with Quickstream Cloud or log in if you already have an account

  3. Connect all your Quickstream Nodes to Cloud 

      1. For Windows click on the quickstream icon in the Windows taskbar and select “Set Node owner in Cloud”
      2. For Linux run quickstream-node-setup and press 1 to select "1) set Node owner in Cloud, to enable Cloud Node administration


As an alternative, you can manage Quickstream Nodes in an offline (no cloud) environment. 
  1. Install Quickstream Clientthe management application that connects with Quickstream Nodes 
  2. Configure Quickstream Client to connect to one or many Quickstream Nodes  

  3. Install License on Quickstream Nodes. Each Quickstream Node needs a valid license to operate. A trial license can be ordered by contacting Support 

  4. Configure your system by adding channels to send or receive.
